Samantha is a Registered Clinical Social Worker with extensive experience supporting individuals, adolescents, caregivers, and families through life’s challenges. Her background spans inpatient psychiatric units, residential treatment centers, outpatient hospital programs, and community care. Recognizing that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, Samantha creates a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported on their journey toward growth and healing.
Samantha’s therapeutic approach integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and CBT-E), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). She has also completed specialized training in Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders. Within individual therapy, Samantha is particularly focused upon eating and mood disorders, anxiety and depression, emotion dysregulation, self-worth, and life transitions. In her family therapy work, she empowers parents and other caregivers to communicate effectively, build deeper connections and foster trust with their loved ones.
Through warmth, empathy, and creativity, Samantha empowers her clients to build resilience and confidence, guiding them toward healing and growth.
