Michael Tighe is a PsyD Candidate in Clinical Psychology at Adler Graduate Professional School, working under the supervision of Drs. Shari Geller and Shelley McMain. He has completed extensive clinical training at various clinical practices in Toronto. Michael works with individuals facing depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive tendencies, perfectionism, trauma, grief, self-esteem issues, relationship difficulties, personality and identity concerns, ADHD, life-stage transitions, work-related stress, sleep problems, and personal growth. He also has extensive experience completing Comprehensive Psychological Assessments for diagnostic clarification.
Michael is committed to fostering a safe, warm, and accepting therapeutic environment that helps clients navigate their difficulties and achieve meaningful change. He does this through an integrative, evidence-based approach and integrate techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), emotion-focused therapy (EFT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), psychodynamic therapy, and existential therapy.
