Workshop Description
Intimacy from the Inside Out©, is a model of couple’s therapy that draws primarily from the Internal Family systems model of psychotherapy therapy, but also includes aspects of psychodynamic theory, systems thinking and neuroscience. Intimacy from the Inside Out© is an experiential model born out of a desire to carry the concepts of IFS into a relational setting and to use the intimate relationship itself as a vehicle for growth and healing of the individual, as well as the couple.
Learning Objectives
At the end of this Workshop, participants will have had the opportunity to:
- Review of the basic assumptions of the IFIO model.
- Explore the goals of IFS couple therapy.
- Have a discussion of cultural differences in relation to the needs of couples.
- Observe video demonstrations.
- Participate in small breakout rooms for discussion and practice.
- Learn the power of Courageous Communication and discover how and why the ANS is significant in IFIO couple therapy.
Presenter
Toni Herbine-Blank is a Senior Lead Trainer for the IFS-Institute and owner and director of the Intimacy from the Inside Out curriculum for couple therapists. Toni teaches, trains and offers workshops, trainings and retreats nationally and internationally. She has co- authored two books on IFS and couple therapy, available on Amazon. Toni is a dynamic presenter known for her warmth, skill and humor. She lives in the mountains of Colorado with her husband and a menagerie of animals

CMBH reserves the right to cancel workshops due to unforeseen circumstances.
